Capgemini needed a way to showcase their technology leadership that felt as cutting-edge as the brand itself. Elation Digital built a hand-tracked Virtual Reality Experience that put participants inside a fully immersive hi-tech environment — no controllers, no buttons, just their hands.
Hand-Tracked 360° Virtual Environment
We combined a VR 360° headset with Leap Motion hand-tracking technology to create an experience that felt genuinely futuristic. Participants put on the headset and found themselves inside a custom-built digital world filled with Capgemini content — navigating and interacting entirely through natural hand gestures. No learning curve, no controller to figure out — just reach out and interact.
The environment was designed to reflect Capgemini’s identity as a global technology and consulting leader. Every surface, space, and interactive element reinforced the brand’s hi-tech positioning without needing a single word of explanation.
Chance Games with Prizes
Woven throughout the VR environment were interactive chance games — giving participants a reward mechanic to chase while they explored. The prize element kept engagement high and gave people a reason to stay inside the experience longer, absorbing more brand content as they played.
Most event activations ask attendees to watch a brand story. This one put them inside it. The combination of hands-free interaction and an immersive branded environment meant Capgemini’s content was experienced rather than consumed — a far more powerful way to leave a lasting impression.
The hand-tracking element in particular set this apart from standard VR booths. Using Leap Motion to eliminate controllers made the experience feel seamless and accessible, lowering the barrier for first-time VR participants while making the technology itself part of the story.
